Alexis D. Furze, M.D., FACS is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Furthermore, Dr. Furze is affiliated with HOAG Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive nasal surgery, sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty, anti-aging procedures for the face and eyes, and facial reconstruction after facial trauma or cancer treatment. Dr. Furze has performed over 10,000 nasal and sinus surgeries.
Dr. Furze earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern, one of the busiest and most prestigious programs in the nation. He then completed additional fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California Irvine.
As one of very few surgeons selected for a university based fellowship with emphasis in both aesthetic and reconstructive facial surgery, combined with extensive training in functional nasal, sinus, head and neck surgery, Dr. Furze brings a comprehensive understanding of the face inside and out which comes through in his outcomes.
